How it's made
From the branch,
to the jar.
Nothing complicated. Just good plums, careful hands and time.
Step 01
Picking
We pick the plums when they're fully ripe, dark-skinned and sweet. From local trees, not from a warehouse.
only the ones that come off easily
Step 02
Halving
Washed one by one, halved, and the stone taken out: the seed that gave our brand its name.
there's the seed!
Step 03
Cooking
Cooked slowly in a big pot, stirred with a wooden spoon until the jam is just thick enough.
no rushing
Step 04
Filling
Poured hot into clean glass jars and sealed straight away.

Step 05
Labelling
Every jar gets its label and a batch number written by hand, so you always know which pot it came from.
No. 01
Three whys
- Why slowly?
- Because flavour needs time.
- Why local?
- Because the best plum is the one that hasn't travelled.
- Why glass?
- Because it keeps the flavour, and it can be used again.
